Comments: I went Ark. Central Elementary from 1962-1967 then on to Jefferson Jr. High until 1968. I would have graduated there in 1972 had I not moved away. I am trying to find my friend Julia Annette Walker who lived at the Texarkana Baptist Orphanage. She moved away in 1969, I believe. Does anyone know where she or one of her sisters are?

Came to Texarkana from Bright Star to College Hill in the 4th grade and the rest is AHS. Dated Kenneth George, John Belk and Richard Tyson before I found my way out to the Air Force Base. Several of us have regrets about that adventure! I have retired to Detroit, TX in Red River County and visit TXK often. Cheers!

Comments: I left Texarkana right after my sophmore year and moved to Baton Rouge. After graduating from H.S. and spending a few years away in the Air Force, I moved back to B.R. and have been here ever since. I'm a '79 graduate of LSU and have been working in the construction industry ever since. I'm currently a commercial general contractor in south Louisiana. My wife, Monette, is a RN here. Between us, we have three great kids, all adults now and we're expecting our first grandchild in February of '04.

Since I was only at AHS for one year, a lot of the J.A. guys won't remember me, but I would hope that the gang from North Heights would. I would love to hear from any and all of you.

Comments: I never actually went to AH, but would have, had I not moved to Fort Worth in 1960. I attended 7th, 8th and 9th grades at Jefferson Avenue Junior High, which was then the junior high for the AH area. I would be interested in seeing what has happened to some of my friends from JA, most of whom I assume went on to AH, but particularly, my best friend, Mary Cates, aka 'Tootsie'. Comments: My Dad was valedictorian of Arkansas High in 1957. I attended Fairview Elementary from 1971 to 1974, when my family moved to Dallas. I remember walking with my family from our house on Broadmoor to the Arkansas High football games on Friday nights. My Dad helped up in the booth. The Arkansas-Texas game was always exciting, and it wasn't easy for me to move to Texas when I was ten!
