I stumbled across this web-site by accident.... As it turned out, it was a good accident. This is a great site. My thanks to the webmasters. I joined the Air Force in 1963 and finally got around to retiring in 1990. My assignments took me to Abilene TX (1963-65), Tachikawa Japan (1965-68), San Antonio,Texas(1968-69), Viet Nam (1969-70), back to Abilene Tx (1970-72), Aviano Italy (1972-76), Little Rock AR (1976-83), back To Aviao Italy (1983-85), Mildenhall England (1985-86)and finally to Rapid City, South Dakota. After three looooooooooong winters in South Dakota, I retired from the USAF and settled in Panama City, FL. I have been married for over 40 years to the former DeAnn Strickland of Texarkana, TX. I always told her that the girls in Arkansas were too smart to marry me so I had to go back to TX to find a wife. We have two daughters and almost 5 grand kids (the fifth is due in March '06). Would love to hear from former classmates.

I grew up in the College Hill area...............my mom worked at Viola's Dairy Cup on Division St.everyone called her Aunt Pearl.......I went to College Hill Elem.,& College Hill Jr.High & Arkansas High. I quit school to help take care of my mother when she became ill due to cancer. So I didn't Graduate with my classmates. I am still looking for classmates of people that remember me or my family.Some of you may have went to school with my older brothers, John & Troy(Timmy)McGaugh, my older sisters Dorthy, Gail, Ruby(Elizabeth),Wanda(Kay)& my younger sister Jannie McGaugh......... We have lost my sister Dorthy & my 2 brother Troy & John to illness over the past years......... Of course, I had my heart attack on May 7, 2005 not 2006. Now I'm awaiting a brain transplant.
I signed this guest book a couple of years ago, but I guess you deleted me. I still have my tax business in Miami Beach during the winter months, but I live in Birmingham, Alabama the rest of the year. I had a heart attack on May 7, 2006, and I had surgery at the V A Hospital in Birmingham. I'm good for another 63 years.

Great site. It is very hard to believe that it has been 50 years since high school. I have been married to the same guy for all of those 50 years. 3 children and 12 grandchildren. Graduated from Univ. of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Nursing and am now retired. Looking forward to returning to Texarkana in Oct. for our 50th HS reunion.
