Hey guys! It's great to see familiar names from 30 years ago. Hi Linda!
It's been a while, hasn't it??
We're in Paris, Texas these days where I'm the Paris High School
librarian and my husband Chris is a band director. Our son Nick is a
music major at the University of Texas - Arlington, and our daughter
Natalie is a senior at PHS who plans to attend East Texas Baptist in the
fall. Nick and Angela gave us the ultimate Christmas present in 2005 - a
beautiful grandson! I'd love to hear from anyone in the class of 1975 or
1976.

I was born in Texarkana Arkansas--GO HOGS!! I need some help tho. My
mother graduated from North Heights High School in 1947, and I have
tried many times over the years to get a copy of her High School
Diploma. All I can find out is that the school burned and all documents
inside. She left, not going to graduation, excited about getting
married. Can you help me with phone # to get in touch with someone that
might be able to help me? She will be 75 this year, and it would be such
a great surprise to frame a copy of her diploma for her. She has
mentioned it many times over the years, and how nice it would be to have
it. Thanking you for your help in advance. Very sincerely, Kathleen
Latham

I would love to hear from anyone I graduated with. I would also love to
hear from anyone who graduated in 1989. My brother Chad Bell was in your
class and he passed away in 1992. I would just love to hear any stories
that you remember of him. He was and still is someone very special to me
and i hold memories of him dear to my heart. That is why I would love to
hear from someone who has any memories of him. Thanks.

I teach Air Force JROTC. This year the unit celebrates the 40th year as
a part of Razorback Life. The unit name is "Thunderhogs". It
is a combination of the P-47 Thunderbolt (Razorback) and the A-10
Thunderbolt II (Warthog). One of the art students put together a logo
for us. We are in the process of adopting it. If you have any pictures
or stories, send them to me.
Thanks |

My father, Jack Coleman, was the coach at Jefferson Avenue Junior High
in the early 1960's, and then went on to coach at AHS before taking the
head coaching job at Hooks. He passed away 2 years ago February. I would
like to send some photos from those years at JA to "whomever"
next time I'm in Texarkana to add to the websight. Some players from
those years that I remember were Denny Cowling and a Tinnan. Please feel
free to contact me if you were a former player.

Was in Texarkana yesterday (death in family) but didn't get to visit any
friends. I want to let you know, however, about my novel titled
"Bridged by Love" set in the Texarkana area in the mid-1880s.
It can be ordered from Amazon.com.
I still love Texarkana. My brother, Paul Shipp, and I drove around our old homeplace. Most of the same houses are still there; they look so much smaller than they did when I was a kid. Take care, |

Hey class of 87 our 20 year is just around the corner*****yikes*** Lets
see if we can't all get together and have our reunion start at the AHS/THS
